New York Police Department 113th Precinct Explorers
Pitches In At V2 Financial

Last Saturday, 113th Explorers, in conjunction with the V2 Financial and the Youth Tycoon Entrepreneur Club, raised money for uniforms by distributing flyers throughout the Southeastern Jamaica Community.

This endeavor will become an ongoing effort for the NYPD 113th Precinct Law Enforcement Explorer Program in their effort to continually fund-raise for the field trips, workshops and high adventure activities, competitions and special projects.  The 113th Explorers are co-chaired by P.O. Krind and P.O. Nettles, both are outstanding and sincerely community minded.  All Youth involved with this career-oriented program designed to educate men and women, ages 14-20, about Law Enforcement to date total 4,000.  V2 Financial is a firm which makes dreams come true says spokesperson, Valerie Samuel.  Samuel says that the firm provides financing for homes, Businesses, Investors, and houses of worship.  And thus, working with the Youth Tycoon Entrepreneur Club and the 113th Explorers has been a tremendous help.  Samuel states that future plans are underway to continue working with these groups.  Any interested youth should call 866-249-3977 to work this summer or join and/or learn more about these organizations.

In the Mainstream…With New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Jamaica

To jumpstart Christian Family Month, the V2 Financial presented to its members of New Jerusalem Baptist Church on Monday their Fix Your Finances Workshop to assist members with financial management and show them how to make a go of their finances.  According to spokesperson Mrs. Valerie Samuel, V2 was invited for its informative approach to financing regularly heard on their Saturday financial literacy radio show airing at 8:45 a.m. weekly on WTHE AM Gospel 1520.  Some of the members in Attendance represented the many concerns of various families and individuals facing the many financial challenges present today.  The following are just a few that were in attendance: Rev. Dr. James C. Kelly, Pastor/Founder, Rev. Dr. Hortense J.
